SuperOver VR Cricket for Events: College Fests, Corporate Days and Watch Parties

Why SuperOver VR Cricket works at events: three overs to beat the top score, a 10×10 ft footprint, standard power and one operator. Rent it or buy it.

Every event planner knows the problem: you need something people will queue for, that works in whatever space the venue gives you, and that doesn’t take a crew to run. At a college fest, a corporate day or a match-night watch party, cricket answers the first part by itself. Everyone has an opinion about their batting.

SuperOver VR Cricket answers the rest.

Why it works at events

Everyone gets three overs to beat the top score

Each player faces 18 balls across three overs in a full virtual stadium, and the session ends with a score. The top score on the board is what keeps the queue alive — friends challenge friends, teams challenge teams, and people come back after lunch to try again.

It takes one corner

SuperOver needs a 10×10 ft play area and a 9 ft ceiling. There’s no net, no bowling machine and no screen to rig, so it fits a stall, a corner of a hall or a covered space outdoors.

It runs on a standard socket

Two standard 230V sockets and stable Wi-Fi are all it needs. The Meta Quest 3 headset is standalone, so there’s no gaming PC to transport.

One operator runs it

A trained operator starts and resets sessions from a tablet, fits the headset and keeps the queue moving. Sessions take about 5–10 minutes per player.

The crowd can watch

Connect a TV over HDMI and everyone waiting sees the game. That’s what turns people walking past into people in the queue.

Good fits

  • College fests — a leaderboard competition across the whole fest
  • Corporate days — team-versus-team batting with a prize for the top score
  • Match-night watch parties — batting in the corner while the match plays on the big screen
  • Expos and brand activations — a stall people stop at, with every swing on show
  • Weekend mall takeovers — stadium energy in a 10×10 ft space

Players need to be 13 or older, and under-18s need a parent or guardian’s consent — worth planning for at mixed-age events.

Rent it or buy it

For a one-off event, rent SuperOver: a trained operator comes with it, and pricing depends on your dates and city. Send your event details for a quote.

If you run events regularly — an event rental company, a mobile operator or an agency — buying makes more sense. SuperOver costs only ₹1.7 Lakhs* with the headset, bat, tablet, software, commercial-use licence, operator training and a 1-year warranty included, and you set it up yourself with one-click setup.
